Born in Cameroon, Serges Lemo holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and has over 18 years of industry experience. Serges has founded 3 ventures. His Reparation Electronique founded in Cameroon in 1998 was an electronics repair service connecting customers with technicians, helping to further his education. Upon graduating from UT, Serges co-founded vCheck Systems, a web-based system designed to help car drivers stay informed of repair progress on their vehicles while in the shop. In 2015, Serges founded TekZone, a consulting and education company focused on helping those in Sub-Saharan Africa get access to the lastest skills, knowledge and tools needed to solve local problems locally. So far, TekZone has reached more than 3000 people across more than 34 countries. Serges currently works as a Section Manager at National Instruments where he manages a global team. Serges is passionate about using technology to solve problems and improving the lives of people in Africa under-served communities.
