About the Event
Join us at our 9th annual gala to celebrate our collective achievements. Since Dr. Ekokobe Fonkem founded the organization in 2005, Healing Beyond the Horizon has provided healthcare, education, and/or fresh water for more than 14,000 individuals. Over the past few years, Healing Beyond the Horizon has partnered with Fiangep Polyclinic in Dschang, Cameroon. In association with Lekudo USA, we've sponsored multiple health fair campaigns in Dschang, Cameroon. During this three-day style event:
- Over 1,500 patients are seen and evaluated
- Dozens of patients are able to receive surgical procedures
- Hundreds of patients are enrolled in a 90-day chronic disease management program which included a steady supply of necessary medications.
With support of our partners and general donations of medical supplies, Healing Beyond the Horizons was able to provide this service for under $15,000. Over the next 12 months, we are planning on hosting at least two more…
